welcome to charlotte.

that's the first thing i read when i got off the plane in north carolina. after a long red eye flight with a layover in atlanta i am finally here. since being here i lived in a ghetto motel/extended stay for a night (that was short lived because the united states marshalls were there banging on doors around mine looking for someone). now we moved into these beautiful apartments. ahhh how i love it.
but let me tell you. this job is not glamorous by any means. i know i've been so excited to come out here and have a good time, and i am, but i was not excited for work. terrible, i know. i was excited to be with todd again and to be with some friends. but hey, work has to happen.

so let's remind myself on why i need to work hard and earn money:
-need to pay for numerous things.
-and remember it's only one summer.

i can do this. i just need some motivation. (knocking doors all day trying to sell pest control isn't a dream, i'll tell ya.)

here I am at home just doing little things when in walks my mom with our neighbor's newborn baby. let's just say for those of you who don't know: i love babies. oh man. above is my brother, chase (he's one of the twin boys). don't these pictures just melt your heart? and these are NOT posed! I almost died. such a natural. 

and yes, eventually i got my time with this little one.

i like that when i get sleepy i get crazy loopy. poor todd.
i like that i blog stalk instead of going to the gym... maybe i don't like that as much.
i like that i'm so addicted to some tv shows (greys, etc.) that when I talk about them, I refer to them by their first names. yeah we're tight like that.
i like that my boyfriend cringes if I even think about putting justin bieber on in the car. kill me.
i like that i've seen the justin bieber movie THREE times. that's right folks, i like his stuff.
i like that half of my closet has something with stripes.
i like that my boyfriend hates facebook officialness and all that entails.
i like that i ran the other day and almost died. it's called being out of shape people asthma even kicked in.
i like that right when i get home i change to my sweats....does that make me sound homely?
i like that life can be flipped in the opposite direction so fast.
i like that general conference is this weekend!
i like that Christine (my other mom) is coming to visit on friday.

bring on summer.

hi. life is speeding up lately. you see, I'm moving out of Rexburg in 3 weeks. First week of April and I'm out. I get to go home for about 2 weeks to catch up with family and spend some time with them. Then I fly out to Baltimore for the whole summer. So exciting but so crazy. First off, I've never really had a summer away from home. Last summer was my first summer while "in college" and I came home for the entire 5 months. It was awesome, but as for now I need be be a grown up and make some money. Thankfully I'll be with some fun people this summer and I'll be in a beautiful place!
As for school? Life is complicated with school. This is my last semester attending BYU-Idaho. I made this decision fairly recently when I realized that I am not exactly working towards a degree out here. I know what I want to do....and honestly, dental hygiene is not possible out in the middle of nowhere idaho. Don't get me wrong I have loved my time here but my schooling can't really continue out here. So I'm going to be working this summer and possibly in the fall. But come winter I am going to go to dental hygiene school. I've been looking into a program in Arizona. So we'll see.

Life as of now has been bliss. And it's funny because I don't really do much, I go to class (with the occasional skip) and hang out with Todd and my friends. Which is awesome because I have the BEST friends & boyfriend a girl could ask for....but seriously. That's another thing that is exciting.... Todd is going to Baltimore this summer too. Yep. Lucky me right? I know. We both get to make money and play. Should be a grand ol' time. I mean really. Check out this stud.

loving as of late.

I've been living life. I've been having a good time. I've been with my girls and the boy. Basically an update with pictures of my actual life is much needed. Tomorrow? Possibly.

hi hi hi hi.

wow. it's been forever. I know. but I do have a good reason this time. So a little over three weeks ago my laptop charger decided on its own to just stop working altogether...how rude right? So for the past three weeks I've dealt with ordering a new one AND an extended battery so I don't have to worry about this anymore but naturally, it still hasn't come. Kill me right? Right. The Rexburg Post Office hates me because of all of my phone calls. but hey! what can a girl do without a laptop for 3 weeks in college? Death sentence almost. Actually more annoying. oh well...i'm past this...not really.

Anyway. I don't have pictures on here because one this isn't my computer and two I probably shouldn't upload them onto my roommates computer. Ha. So just to say, I have the best friends up here at school right now. So far this is my favorite semester. Probably not the greatest thing that I am crazy social during the time of my crazy class schedule but it always seems to happen that way right? I hang out with my girls (ali and niff) daily. It would be weird not to see them for a day, which is exactly why that doesn't happen. This past weekend I went down to utah and had a good time. I originally went down there for a nursing school interview. It was good, I did well on an exam they gave me but I didn't love it and for that pretty penny I was about to spend I wanted to LOVE it. But the trip was great because I got to see some wonderful friends from back home and I got to eat some of the most amazing food ever. I mean really, has anyone ever eaten at Tucanos? um, hello? LOVE. and red mango...obviously. currently I left my heart at Red mango on university parkway kill me. I know this post is all writing but hey I felt like writing and the picture thing just isn't working out today. I'm about to go to the library with ali, yes we get together after being 5 hours away from eachother...just to sleep. I still have no idea why i'm not just living with her. anyway.... i'm going to force statistics down my throat till i'm pro, then i'll go take the stats test and then i'll run till my little legs won't run anymore. I've decided I love the gym. Especially here.... it's weird I mean i see all of my friends there...literally. hence why haley goes to the gym, oh and i kinda like working out ha. 

Moral of the story for today: 

Haley is in love with her friends. Seriously. they are the best. 

She has a thing of drinking water through a straw and is currently obsessed with tomato soup.
